Official results are never available on Election Day. Election officials are working around the clock to count an unprecedented number of ballots, and it’s essential that they take the time to make sure every vote is counted. We will continue to update this information until the results of the election are certified.
URGENT!!! Did you, or someone you know, receive a notice from DuPage County that there are issues with your/their ballot? Illinois Ballot Cure Process
The deadline to cure (correct) your absentee or mail-in ballot is by Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022. The County should have notified you if your ballot has been rejected and you have until the 14th day after the election to provide your local election authority, with evidence as to why your ballot should not be rejected. If you voted by provisional ballot, you may submit additional information to your local election officials. Any additional information must be received no later than the close of business on the Thursday following Election Day.
The certification deadline, in Illinois, for the November 8, 2022 General Election, is December 9, 2022.
Absentee and mail-in ballots begin being counted on Election Day. Provisional ballots are counted 14 days after the election. If you have ANY issues or concerns regarding your vote or ballot, please call the DuPage County Board of Elections at 630-407-5600 (M-F, 8AM – 4:30PM).
