This site originated to provide information regarding the “Proposition to Increase the Limiting Rate of Center Cass School District 66, DuPage County, Illinois”, that appeared on the June 28, 2022 Primary Election and the November 8, 2022 General Election ballots. This site will continue to be updated to provide post-referendum information regarding BOE decisions to manage and spend our community’s hard-earned tax dollars. The information provided on this site has been collected through a variety of sources including, but not limited to – the CCSD 66 website, district communications, district meetings, news articles, FOIA requests, DuPage County, the DuPage County Regional Office of Education (ROE), the Illinois State Board or Education (ISBE), interviews, and correspondence with district administration and BOE members. This site was created and is managed by engaged community members who care about and support the students, teachers and staff in the district but believe that affordability and fiscal accountability are required for the long term viability of this district and community. Official results are never available on Election Day. Election officials are working around the clock to count an unprecedented number of ballots, and it’s essential that they take the time to make sure every vote is counted. We will continue to update this information until the results of the election are certified.

URGENT!!! Did you, or someone you know, receive a notice from DuPage County that there are issues with your/their ballot? If so, please ACT IMMEDIATELY TO CURE YOUR BALLOT or your VOTE WILL NOT be COUNTED. Questions? Please call the DuPage County Board of Elections ASAP at 630-407-5600 (M-F, 8AM – 4:30PM).

Illinois Ballot Cure Process

The deadline to cure (correct) your absentee or mail-in ballot is by Tuesday, November 22^nd, 2022. The County should have notified you if your ballot has been rejected and you have until the 14^th day after the election to provide your local election authority, with evidence as to why your ballot should not be rejected. If you voted by provisional ballot, you may submit additional information to your local election officials. Any additional information must be received no later than the close of business on the Thursday following Election Day.

The certification deadline, in Illinois, for the November 8, 2022 General Election, is December 9, 2022.

Absentee and mail-in ballots begin being counted on Election Day. Provisional ballots are counted 14 days after the election. If you have ANY issues or concerns regarding your vote or ballot, please call the DuPage County Board of Elections at 630-407-5600 (M-F, 8AM – 4:30PM).
